Synthoxide was born on April 19th, 2007 and is currently hosted by the lovely
DreamHost. But, it used be be called
Seikatsu Designs and was actually fully started with that name on August 26th, 2006.
One day, I began to beg my mom to get me paid hosting and at first, we agreed that I would pay for it with my birthday money, but then after everything was paid, she told me it was a gift, since I don't ask for much.
I remember always dreaming about having a domain. A couple weeks ago, I began to come up with "scientific" names/terms for a new site title. Since
Synthesis wasn't available as a domain, nor
Oxidized, I combined the two names together to form Synthoxide (it sounds cool to me. Haha).
Synthesis means a new unified whole resulting from the combination of different ideas, influences, or objects, which is suitable for a site name. Oxidized means to react or cause a chemical to react with oxygen, for example in forming an "oxide". I love things that end in -oxide. Even if I'm not very fond with chemestry, I love the element names of stuff. (Lol, I made a 91 in Physical Science.)
This is, infact, my 6th site. All my past sites had the boring name "Seikatsu Designs". If felt to change it, since this is no longer an anime site (not including the media) and people would think it was. Unforunately, I haven't made great progress in those past years of 5 sites, since I first had a crappy software that dated back to 1998, then had Paintshop Pro, and then I finally got Photoshop after Christmas of 2006.
I hope to keep this site alive and keep myself busy for days and days. This is, infact, a hobby of mine and it's to entertain me.
